What cookies and similar technologies are

Strictly necessary technology
WordPress, the host, and security services may use short-lived cookies or technical storage needed to deliver pages, balance traffic, protect forms, prevent abuse, and keep an authenticated administrator signed in. These functions are not used to build advertising profiles.
Form security and Google reCAPTCHA
Enquiry, contact, repair, and viewing forms may load Google reCAPTCHA when you use a protected form. reCAPTCHA processes technical signals to distinguish genuine submissions from automated spam and may use cookies or similar storage. Bayt limits it to pages that contain a form.
Maps and external services
A property page may contain a Google map. Google may receive your IP address, browser details, and interaction data and may set or read its own cookies when the map loads or you open it. Links to WhatsApp, Google Forms, Google Reviews, and other external sites are governed by those providers once you follow them.
Analytics
Bayt does not currently activate Google Analytics unless a real measurement ID is configured. If optional analytics is enabled, it must be held back until the appropriate consent control is available; typical Google Analytics cookies include _ga and _ga_<container-id>. Analytics is used to understand page performance and enquiries, not to make tenancy decisions.
Your choices
You can delete or block cookies in your browser and use private browsing. Blocking essential storage may affect forms or signed-in features. Where consent is required for optional technology, refusing it must not prevent you from reading property information or contacting Bayt by phone or email.
How long information lasts
Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for the period set by the relevant provider unless you delete them sooner. Bayt reviews the site when services change and updates this page when a material change affects the technologies used.
