Ten friends, two five-bedroom flats

North Road keeps a group of ten at the same address while giving each half of the group its own kitchen, lounge and two bathrooms. The arrangement is more practical than forcing ten people through one set of shared facilities.

Across both flats there are ten furnished bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens and two living areas. Each bedroom has a small double bed, double wardrobe, mirror, drawers, bedside table, desk and chair, bookshelf, pinboard and TV point. The building also provides free laundry facilities, secure bike storage, CCTV and courtyard space.

Two kitchens make different meal times easier. Two lounges let one flat host friends while the other stays quiet. The setup works particularly well for two linked groups of five or one larger group willing to divide evenly.

North Road keeps the group close to everything

Lancaster Bus Station is nearby, with the direct 1/1A reaching Lancaster University approximately every ten minutes and other services adding daytime departures.

Sainsbury’s is around the corner. Domino’s, Burgshake and other takeaways are close, while the Sugarhouse, market and city-centre shops are all walkable. The group can manage lectures, shopping and nights out without organising lifts.
