Queen Street makes the city easy

Aldi is at one end of the street and Tesco at the other, so a weekly shop does not need a car. Snap Fitness is beside Tesco, Sainsbury’s Local is nearby, and the wider city centre covers cafés, shops, takeaways and nightlife.

For campus, Common Garden Street is close to the direct 1/1A. The city-centre stop by Tesco and the South Road stops provide further nearby choices. The 1/1A connects to Lancaster University approximately every ten minutes, with additional services increasing daytime frequency.

The location works well for mixed routines: some housemates can cycle, others can take the bus, and everyone can walk home from the city centre.
