The 12-bedroom Queen Street option combines the building’s two six-bedroom flats. All 12 students live at one address, while each six-person household has its own kitchen, lounge and two bathrooms.

Across both flats, the group receives 12 furnished bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens and two living areas. Each bedroom includes Bayt’s full shared-room furniture specification, including a small double bed, double wardrobe, desk and chair, storage, bookshelf, pinboard, mirror and TV point.

This layout is useful for a large friendship group with different timetables. Two kitchens reduce pressure at dinner time, two lounges allow separate study and social routines, and four bathrooms spread demand across the building.

A strong city base for a large Lancaster University group

Queen Street is close to Common Garden Street, the city-centre stop by Tesco and the South Road stops. The direct 1/1A runs approximately every ten minutes, while several other services add daytime capacity towards Bailrigg.

Aldi, Tesco, Snap Fitness and Sainsbury’s Local cover most weekly essentials within the immediate area. The building also has secure internal bike storage and a rear courtyard, giving the group practical alternatives to bus travel and indoor social space.

Bills and tenancy structure

Rent includes the stated bills package. Because the accommodation spans two flats, Bayt sets out the rent, deposit, bills allowance and legal responsibility attached to each flat before the group commits.
