Lancaster University students have straightforward connections towards Bailrigg, with the nearest bus stop around two minutes away and the university around 20 minutes away by bus. Cycling is another practical option from Fairfield.
It means Meadow Street works particularly well for students who want access to both universities, the city and the railway station, but would rather live on a residential street than directly beside Lancaster's nightlife.

For the nights when nobody in the house wants to cook, Windmill Fish & Chips is only around a two-minute walk away. The city centre is also within easy reach when you want a wider choice of supermarkets, cafés, takeaways and restaurants.
It is a small detail, but having food, essentials and a takeaway within a few minutes of the front door makes day-to-day student life considerably easier.
