The bedroom includes a small double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers, double wardrobe, mirror, desk and chair, bookshelf, pinboard and TV point. You share two bathrooms, a kitchen-diner and lounge with the other residents of the flat.

The kitchen includes two large fridge-freezers, an oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. The wider Queen Street building also provides secure internal bike storage, CCTV in communal areas and a rear courtyard.

One street, several practical routes to campus

Queen Street works particularly well for Lancaster University students because you are not tied to one boarding point. Common Garden Street is close for the direct 1/1A, the city-centre stop near Tesco gives another nearby option, and the South Road stops are convenient when your route or plans take you towards the southern side of town.

Day-to-day errands are equally straightforward. Aldi sits at one end of the street and Tesco at the other. Snap Fitness is next to Tesco, while Sainsbury’s Local adds another option for smaller grocery trips. Shops, cafés and the wider city centre are all within walking distance.

The 1/1A provides a direct campus connection approximately every ten minutes, with services 100, 4, 4X, 40, 41 and 42 adding further daytime options from the city.
